This six week course is perfect for those who are beginning in oils as well as those who have some experience and are looking for a place to advance their learning and techniques. The basics of setting up your palette, understanding materials, and clean up & safety will be covered. We'll work on a couple of different paintings throughout the weeks, starting with a still life study, painting landscapes, and a third project that's up to each student! This class is designed to help each student advance in the ways of painting they are interested in pursuing through feedback, support, and a supportive learning environment. Oil painting is such an incredible and fun medium, so let's paint together!

All supplies will be provided for use during class time. If students are interested in working on paintings outside of class, they will need to use their own painting supplies.
