Looking to feel empowered, and more confident? Art Hub is hosting Chimera,  proactive self-defense designed for everyday life! You'll leave this class with plenty of practical, real-world techniques, ranging from lethally violent strikes to nonviolent grab escapes to physical and verbal boundary-setting. Even if you never get in a fight, you'll be glad you took this class! This class is open to women, trans & non-binary people over 12 years old.

Chimera Empowerment Self-Defense (February)

    • We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants enter through our rear door after business hours - anytime after 5:00 pm. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

    • We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. We always prioritize rescheduling a class first.  If a class is rescheduled, you will have the option to sign up for the rescheduled date, or be issued credit towards a future class. If we are not able to reschedule and must cancel a class, we will issue you credit towards a future class (no cash refunds). If you aren’t able to attend the class and it is past the registration deadline, no class credit will be issued.

    • All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

    • This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
