Join fiber artist and instructor Erin Ehlert-Maddocks of The Wood and Wool Shop for a fun and festive needle felting class! In this hands-on, 2-hour workshop, students will learn the basics of needle felting while creating a charming set of three pumpkins from wool fibers. During class, participants will complete one pumpkin while learning essential techniques such as shaping, firming wool, and adding texture and character.
This class is designed for ages 12 and older and is perfect for beginners, as well as those with some felting experience who want to build their skills. Students will leave with one finished pumpkin, materials and instructions to complete the remaining two pumpkins at home, and the confidence to continue needle felting on their own.
All wool materials and one felting needle are included. Students may bring their own felting needles if they prefer, and additional replacement needles will be available for purchase if needed. Needle felting kits, wool, and other supplies will also be available for purchase after class for those interested in continuing their felting journey at home.
