Are you curious about watercolor painting but have never tried it, or has it been a while since you last picked up a brush? Join us for a beginner-friendly watercolor workshop designed especially for those who want to test out different supplies, gain confidence, and fall in love with the art of watercolor! No need to bring anything, just your curiosity and enthusiasm!

Each week, I'll demonstrate essential techniques for you to practice. In Week One, we'll create a monochrome lighthouse, focusing on values and shapes; if time allows, we'll paint another in color. Scared of drawing? There will be the option of a traced light house for you. Week Two will build on previous skills, finish any unfinished work, and introduce a new subject selected by either you or the teacher. We'll also cover ideas on how to frame your painting. You can try out a couple of my mats on your painting. All supplies are included.

ART HUB REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Art Hub, we do our best to keep classes running smoothly while also honoring the time and commitment of our students and instructors. Thank you for taking a moment to review our updated refund policy effective July 25, 2026.

Class Minimums

Most classes require a minimum of 5 participants one week before the start date.

If we reach the minimum, the class will run as scheduled.

If Art Hub Cancels a Class/Workshop (Excludes Ceramics & Wheel Throwing Classes)

If a class is canceled because we did not meet the minimum and it cannot be rescheduled, you may choose a full refund or class credit.

If a new date is scheduled and you cannot attend, you may choose a full refund or class credit valid for one year.

If a workshop (1 time class) is canceled due to instructor illness or bad weather, we will make every effort to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, you may choose a full refund or class credit.

If a class (multiple weeks) is canceled due to instructor illness or bad weather, we will reschedule, if you are unable to attend, no refund or class credit will be issued. We will make sure you get the material that was covered during that makeup.

If You Need to Cancel Your Registration

15+ days before class:

You may get class credit good for one year to go towards any class.

14 days before class:

No refunds or credits are available.

After the class has started:

No refunds or credits are available.

Class credits are valid for one calendar year from the date they are issued and expire thereafter.
We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants ENTER THROUGH OUR REAR DOOR IF YOUR CLASS IS OVER AFTER BUSINESS HOURS-ANYTIME AFTER 5PM. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

NO CARRY-IN DRINKS: Water Bottles totally welcome and Coffee. We have a delicious selection of drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic for purchase. We also have hot tea.

We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. See RETURN POLICY for details.

All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
