Turn old fabrics, pockets, and clothing into a one-of-a-kind messenger bag that's as functional as it is creative! In this class, you'll learn how to combine upcycled materials with patchwork, decorative stitching, and embroidery techniques to design a bag that's uniquely your own.
Along the way, we'll explore construction techniques, creative embellishments, and ways to add personality through fabric choices and stitching details. No two bags will look alike, making this a great class for anyone who loves to create something original.
This is not a beginner sewing class. Students should have previous sewing experience or have completed Sewing Machine 101 before registering.
Please bring your own sewing machine so you can continue building confidence with the machine you'll use at home.
