Turn broken pieces into something beautiful! In this mosaic class, you'll learn the basics of mosaic design as you create a one-of-a-kind wall hanging using antique teacups, tiles, stained glass, and other unique materials.
We'll cover layout, composition, cutting techniques, adhesives, and grouting while exploring how to combine color, texture, and found objects into a finished piece that's both artistic and functional. Every project will be completely different, making each mosaic a personal reflection of your own style.
We will have a wonderful selection of antique teacups for you to choose from. If you have a special teacup of your own that you'd like to incorporate into your piece, we encourage you to bring it! Whether it's a family heirloom, a thrift store find, or simply a favorite cup, it can make your mosaic even more meaningful.
