Create any animal in pastel – soft or scaly! In this course, students will create a pastel picture based on their personal reference photo to commemorate and celebrate their best friends. With a focus on mark making and color theory, students will learn how to capture the essence of pets with soft pastel. Any close-up images of pets are welcome but would need to fit well in a square composition. The resulting artwork can make a great Christmas gift for family or friends! All art supplies are provided, but students need to bring their own reference photo.

We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants enter through our rear door after business hours - anytime after 5:00 pm. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

NO CARRY-IN DRINKS: Water Bottles totally welcome and Coffee. We have a delicious selection of drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic for purchase. We also have hot tea.

We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. We always prioritize rescheduling a class first. If a class is rescheduled, you will have the option to sign up for the rescheduled date, or be issued credit towards a future class. If we are not able to reschedule and must cancel a class, we will issue you credit towards a future class (no cash refunds). If you aren’t able to attend the class and it is 7 days before the class, no class credit will be issued.

All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
