How and where did your art practice begin?
Early as a child, people commented that my artwork was exceptional and thought that I would one day become an artist. I won my first art award as an artist at 12 years old, I have continued that passion and dedication throughout my life.
Where do you draw inspiration for your forms/designs?
"All of my works are inspired by the forms of contemporary art and architecture, the geometry of mid-century modern and the bahus, within the disciplined restraint of minimalism."
How do you plan your pieces and how do you decide when they’re finished?
I do not plan my Art; the works are strictly dictated by rules of form and composition to be a distilled essence of composition and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. With minimalism they are finished when the concept of what else could I add encroaches the mind.
What draws you to your specific/preferred medium?

I chose wood for the ease of construction, I also like that wood has graining inside each individual piece that even within the ridged forms has flow and movement.
What result can a finished piece or your process yield that makes you feel rewarded or proud?
I am most proud when people who have purchased my art show me photos of it hanging in their homes. It means a lot to me to know that my art is cherished by the people whom purchase the works an put it in a place of importance in their life.
Upcoming events/sales/where can your work be purchased?

How does being involved with a community art space like Art Hub impact your art practice/business or ability to celebrate and network amongst other artists?

Being part of the Art Hub is extremely valuable to me as an artist. It does far more than simply facilitate sales; it creates a sense of belonging and continuity in what can otherwise be a very solitary practice. Through the Art Hub, I’m able to connect with other artists, exchange ideas, and stay engaged with a creative community that understands both the artistic and business sides of making work. That shared experience helps ground me, challenges me to grow, and reassures me during moments of doubt. It strengthens my confidence, visibility, and long-term sustainability as a working artist while giving me a space to celebrate the work of others as well as my own.
