Get ready to build, sculpt, and imagine! We will learn the fundamentals of ceramic handbuilding while creating one of a kind projects inspired by their own creativity.
Using slab, pinch, and sculpting techniques, students will learn how to shape clay, build strong forms, add texture, attach pieces securely, and refine their work.
Along the way, they'll create fun, unique projects they love and enjoy. Before glazing, students will have time to add finishing touches and create fun accessories that make each project even more unique.
Students wil glaze their creations with colorful ceramic glazes before the final firing and can be picked up 2-4 weeks.
This club encourages imagination, problem solving, and creativity while teaching the foundational ceramic skills that every young clay artist can build on. No two projects will ever look the same, making this the perfect class for kids who love to dream big and create something completely their own.
