In this beginner-friendly sewing class, students will start by getting comfortable with their own machine—learning how to thread it, operate it, and sew with confidence. Once the basics are down, we’ll dive into simple starter projects like a pillow and a small bag.
From there, students will progress to reading a sewing pattern and creating a wearable item they’ll be proud to show off. We’ll wrap up the session with a mini fashion show for parents so students can celebrate their hard work and debut their finished creations!
*Bus Transportation is available from the Elementary School to the Middle School where an Art Hub Staff Member will meet the kids and walk them over to Art Hub for class. Please indicate if you plan on taking the bus.
