Have you always wanted to throw pots, or are you returning to clay? In this class you will learn the fundamentals of throwing bowls, vases and plates from start to finish. We will wedge clay, center and throw pots on the wheel, trim leather-hard pots, and glaze bisque pottery before final firing. You will take home your finished glazed pots.
You’ll experience the joy of pottery and develop your technique and confidence in a small, cozy, and supportive creative space with a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio and personalized guidance.
***The price also includes 2 additional hours a week of independent studio time. (must book wheel in advance)
***The price also includes 10 lbs of finished work
What makes taking a wheel throwing class at Art Hub special really comes down to the experience. With only four wheels in the studio, there’s time and space for real one-on-one guidance, so you’re not just trying it—you’re actually learning and improving. You’ll have access to extra open studio time to practice, build confidence, and get comfortable at the wheel. Add in our small, welcoming environment and strong sense of community, and it becomes more than just a class—it’s a place to slow down, connect, and truly grow as a maker.
