Explore creating several types of lidded vessels in this 5 week class. Demonstrations on enclosed forms, throwing lids, creating galleries, and placement of handles will be covered. Students will spend 4 weeks learning different techniques to make lids and handles, and 1 week glazing. This is an intermediate level class for students that are already able to throw on a pottery wheel.
What sets Art Hub apart from other pottery studios? We focus on quality, connection, and time to truly learn. With just four wheels in our studio, students get plenty of one-on-one instruction during wheel throwing classes—plus extra open studio hours to come in and practice and build confidence. Our expanded handbuilding classes explore a wide variety of techniques, offering something new each session. Add in our intimate studio setting and strong sense of community, and Art Hub becomes more than a class—it’s a place to create, grow, and belong.
***The price also includes 2 additional hours a week of independent studio time. (must book wheel in advance)
***The price also includes 10lbs of finished work (additional pieces are fired at $3lb)
