Create festive ceramic tealight hats with Carcin for the holiday season! By rolling slabs and building forms, students will design unique holiday décor or imaginative pieces that beautifully let light shine through. This class introduces foundational slab-building techniques and the reductive process of cutting out shapes to create negative space where the light can glow. Once your piece is complete, you’ll glaze it in the second class and pick it up after it’s been fired. These clay creations will teach great technique and brighten your home or make a perfect handmade gift!
 
*Bus Transportation is available from the Elementary School to the Middle School where an Art Hub Staff Member will meet the kids and walk them over to Art Hub for class.  Please indicate if you plan on taking the bus. 
 
**Art Hub’s After School program qualifies for the DCFSA.

We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants enter through our rear door after business hours - anytime after 5:00 pm. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

NO CARRY-IN DRINKS: Water Bottles totally welcome and Coffee. We have a delicious selection of drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic for purchase. We also have hot tea.

We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. We always prioritize rescheduling a class first. If a class is rescheduled, you will have the option to sign up for the rescheduled date, or be issued credit towards a future class. If we are not able to reschedule and must cancel a class, we will issue you credit towards a future class (no cash refunds). If you aren’t able to attend the class and it is 7 days before the class, no class credit will be issued.

All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
