In this 2-hour workshop, artist Chris Steinmiller will guide you through the process of creating your own still life painting in oils. You'll learn how to mix vibrant colors, create light and texture, and bring depth to your work using brushes and a palette knife. Chris will begin with a short demo covering palette setup, mixing techniques, and how to start and build a painting.
Students will then work from a still life setup or a photo, applying what they've learned on canvas with Chris providing individual coaching throughout. Whether you're new to oils or building on experience, this hands-on session offers the chance to grow your skills in a relaxed, supportive setting.
